Ellisiv Tandberg

Ellisiv Tandberg is an award-winning classical pianist based in Oslo. After completing her bachelor's degree under the guidance of Håvard Gimse, she continued her master's studies in Vienna at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien), graduating with highest honors and distinction.

She has distinguished herself as both a soloist and chamber musician in numerous national and international competitions, including winningFirst Prize at the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition, Second Prize at the Alicante International Piano Competition, and Third Prize at the International Vienna Piano Competition.

As early as 2012, she was among the finalists in NRK’s Virtuos. She has appeared as a soloist with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and theNorwegian Radio Orchestra, and has performed in prestigious concert venues such as the Musikverein Vienna, Oslo Concert Hall, and theNorwegian National Opera & Ballet.

Ellisiv has received several honors, including the Vestfold and Telemark Artist Award and the Norwegian Government Grant for Young Artists. She performs regularly both in Norway and internationally. In 2022, she appeared alongside Alexander Rybak in San Francisco.

In 2026, she will release her debut album, Norse Saga.
