Ingunn Tennøe (b. 1989) holds a Master’s degree in Classical Piano Performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music and has also studied at the Barratt Due Institute of Music. In 2010, she was awarded a full scholarship for a one-year program at the Manhattan School of Music in the United States.
Tennøe has performed both nationally and internationally, and has previously been based in countries such as England and Norway, where she has worked as a professional musician. In addition to classical music, she has studied oral storytelling at OsloMet, and is also an active songwriter and singer.
Tennøe is passionate about making classical music accessible to a wider audience and has created concert productions for all age groups, ranging from school settings to concert halls. She collaborates with various ensembles and artists who explore and challenge traditional norms within the classical music field.
