Olga Jørgensen, of Norwegian-Polish background, is a highly sought-after pianist and chamber musician. She is educated at the Royal Academy of Music in London and theNorwegian Academy of Music.
Jørgensen has appeared as a soloist with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and has performed at venues such as the University Aula in Oslo, Troldhaugen in Bergen, Wigmore Hall, the Purcell Room at Southbank Centre, Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and St John’s Smith Square.
She has performed at festivals including the Risør Chamber Music Festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, the Hemsing Festival, the Johan Halvorsen Music Festival, the Oxford Lieder Festival, and the Victoria International Arts Festival in Malta. She has won several awards, including First Prize at the St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition, the Malta International Music Competition, and the Yamaha Music Scholarship for Scandinavia.
Jørgensen is also a highly regarded accompanist. Alongside an active freelance career, she works as an accompanist at the Barratt Due Institute of Music and the Norwegian Academyof Music.
