Kode Remembers His Majesty King Harald V

Kode’s Board of Directors and all employees are mourning the news of the passing of His Majesty King Harald.
Due to the funeral service of His Majesty King Harald on Wednesday, 9 September, Kode’s museums will close to the public from 12:00 noon.
In connection with King Harald’s funeral service on Wednesday, 9 September, Kode’s museums will close to the public from 12.00 noon.
Admission to our museums will be free between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
Visitors are welcome to leave a message in the book of condolences, which has been placed in the Rasmus Meyer Collection.
The concert at Troldhaugen at 10:15 a.m. will take place as scheduled. The concerts at 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. have unfortunately been cancelled.
Our deeply respected and beloved monarch will be greatly missed, and we share in the grief of the Norwegian people.
King Harald visited our museums on numerous occasions, and we greatly appreciated his presence at many events here in Bergen.

King Harald was a unifying figure, beloved by the people and deeply important to our entire nation. Through his warm and approachable manner, and through his wise and compassionate words, the King shared in our joys, gave us comfort and renewed strength in difficult times, and made us all even prouder of our country.
