and schools Want to visit us with your class? We have programmes for Kindergartens
Use the museum as a resource in your work with the children’s creative development.
A visit to the museum is an exciting experience for the children and for many the first kindergarten excursion they take part in. At Kode, you will meet welcoming guides who adapt the art experience to the children’s age and interests.

Bring your class to new exhibitions or use the permanent museum collections in new and interesting ways.
The works of art can for instance serve as a starting point for discussions about subjects that are challenging to talk about at school and in people’s everyday lives.
We tailor the content of the tours to the different age levels and links it to the school’s curriculum.

Use the art to learn about Norwegian cultural history and literature!
We offer tours focusing on different styles and links the museum visit to the curriculum for Norwegian language, history, and social studies.
We are particularly conscious of the interdisciplinary aspect and the potential of learning in new rooms and surroundings.
