On Friday, 11 September, this year's Culture Night will take place.
Kode's exhibitions will be open until 11:00 p.m., with free admission. In addition, there will be a book launch, a drawing bar, concerts, and pop-up guided tours.
Stay tuned for a more detailed programme of activities as Culture Night approaches.
Rasmus Meyer's Collection: Highlights of older Norwegian painting, featuring works by J.C. Dahl, Christian Krohg, Harriet Backer, Kitty Kielland, Nikolai Astrup, and, of course, Edvard Munch.
Stenersen:They Live is the largest presentation of Vibeke Tandberg's artistic practice to date. The exhibition spans more than three decades, from her iconic works of the 1990s to brand-new pieces. As a central figure in the Nordic wave of young artists that emerged in the 1990s, Tandberg is particularly renowned for her series of digitally manipulated photographs and is widely regarded as a pioneer of digital photography as an art form.
