About Charlie Siem and Håvard Gimse

Charlie Siem, born in 1986 in London, is a renowned British-Norwegian violinist. He started playing the violin at a young age and quickly established himself as a prominent musician internationally.

Siem has performed with leading orchestras worldwide and collaborated with a range of renowned conductors and musicians. He is known for his virtuosity and passionate interpretations, with a repertoire spanning from classical to modern music.

Håvard Gimse is an outstanding Norwegian pianist with an international career. He is recognized for his skill as a performer and artist.

Gimse has toured the world and collaborated with numerous leading orchestras and conductors. His passionate and sensitive interpretations of classical music, along with his ability to delve into a broad repertoire, have made him a significant figure in the world of classical music.

April brings great experiences in Troldsalen! It is possible to buy this concert as part of a package deal. Get two concerts for only 700 NOK:

April 21st at 15.00: Charlie Siem and Håvard Gimse: Stars with Ole Bull

April 28th at 15.00: Simeon Goshev: Spring-like Schumann and Grieg

The second concert in the deal:

Simeon Goshev is a Bulgarian pianist based in Vienna. His vibrant and compelling interpretations, especially of works from Viennese classicism and the 20th and 21st centuries, are highly appreciated across Europe.

The young Bulgarian pianist completed his music education at the University of Music in Vienna (MDW).

Goshev is deeply interested and engaged in various aspects of classical music - in February 2021, he successfully obtained his doctorate from the National Conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a thesis on Stravinsky's ballets. In October 2021, he became part of the renowned teaching team at the piano faculty at MDW.

Since 2021, Simeon Goshev is also an official Bösendorfer Artist, representing one of the world's leading piano brands.

Practical Information

It will be possible to buy a ticket for each individual concert at the entrance on the concert day, but subject to availability.

The concert ticket also includes entrance to the museum and Grieg's villa.

The museum is open as usual, with guided tours in the villa, a free audio guide in the outdoor area, a café, and an exhibition.
