Gitarkonsert med Marko Erdevicki
As part of Kode’s Cultural Night
Marko Erdevicki is a classical guitarist and educator, trained in both Serbia and Norway. When he is not making music, he enjoys chess and tennis, as well as embracing the lifestyle of the people of Sotra, including boating and fishing.
At this concert, he explores the Fantasie genre and the meaning of the word across several centuries, as well as the Spanish dance forms Fandango and Zapateado.
The concert concludes with Chopin’s famous Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2, arranged for guitar by Francisco Tárrega. Works by Da Milano, Bogdanovic, Legnani, Coste, Rodrigo and Chopin/Tárrega will be performed on a 1970s guitar with a shorter scale length, made by Japanese master guitar maker Ryoji Matsuoka.
