Concert lecture about Signe Lund
Signe Lund was one of Norway's most interesting composers in the first half of the 20th century. However, from the 1930s, she identified as a convinced Nazi, in contrast to Harald Sæverud.
Rune Alver takes us into the history and artistic work.
About the artist
Rune Alver has extensive concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician, performing in many European countries, Russia, China, and South Africa. In 2013, he made his debut with a solo recital at Carnegie Hall, New York.
Rune Alver collaborates with prominent musicians, actors, and visual artists in both traditional and more experimental forms.
About the second concert in the deal:
March 17th: Ramez Mhanna and Le Tombeau de Couperin
During World War I, Maurice Ravel wrote "Le Tombeau de Couperin," named after the French Baroque composer. The work is a tribute to him and to Ravel's friends who lost their lives in the war.
Ramez Mhaanna is a Danish internationally recognized classical pianist. He completed his bachelor's degree at the Gnesin Music School in Moscow and his master's and soloist degrees at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
Mhaanna has performed concerts in several prominent European concert halls, playing both solo recitals and chamber music.
Practical Information
Online, it is only possible to purchase a combined ticket for all concerts. It will be possible to buy tickets for each individual concert at the entrance on the day of the concert, subject to availability.
The concerts last approximately one hour.
