In these concerts, young award winning pianists perform and speak about their personal favourites from Edvard Grieg’s piano music.
Each concert is unique and personal, offering insight into different sides of Grieg’s compositional output.

Troldhaugen
From Troldsalen, the concert hall at Troldhaugen, the music is experienced alongside what may be the finest view in Bergen: the idyllic Nordåsvannet and Edvard Grieg’s composer’s hut, where several of Norway’s greatest musical treasures were created.
The concert lasts 30 minutes.
Concert tickets are valid only in combination with a valid admission ticket.
Troldhaugen’s villa is closed for necessary rehabilitation work. The exhibition, concert hall, café, and outdoor areas remain open and welcome visitors.
Take the bus to the place where Grieg created his magical music
Fra 9. juni til 13. september, tirsdager til søndager mellom kl. 10:00 og 16:00 går From 9 June to 13 September, Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 16:00, a shuttle bus runs between the museums in the city centre and the composers’ homes. Departure is from outside the Rasmus Meyer Building.
With a single bus ticket, it is easy to experience everything Kode has to offer. Whether you want to fill an entire day or create an itinerary with several shorter stops, you can easily combine a visit to the museums in the city centre with a trip to one of our composers’ home.
