When
What happens when everyday stories from Sletten are transformed into music? When words from a shopping center, a tram stop, or a flower meadow find their way into newly written scores?
This autumn, composition students from the Grieg Academy have listened to the voices of Sletten – memories, experiences, and dreams from the people who live there. Now, they are bringing these voices back through music. The result is brand-new works, written for singers and instrumentalists from the Academy, and performed in the heart of Sletten Center.
On November 29, the center will turn into an unexpected concert stage. The audience is invited to experience short performances where stories from the local community come alive through music – intimate, acoustic, and surprising.
