On Art and Life #2: Anine Fatou Bråten
An evening of art, conversation, and reflection
In the conversation series "On Art and Life," Kode invites fascinating guests to share their insights and explore art—through openhearted discussions and engaging themes. Each guest selects a work of art from the museum’s collection that holds special meaning for them. The conversation will be held in English.
With art as our starting point, we dive into engaging themes connected to life experiences, art, passions, and pressing societal issues. Our guest is Anine Fatou Bråten—an activist, writer, law student, and literature advocate with a strong commitment to human rights, equality, and minority rights.
Bråten is the founder of the organization Female Minority Voices, which amplifies the voices of ethnic minority women through literature and dialogue. She has participated in art projects and performances for the Borealis Festival and Bergen Kunsthall and has worked as a program host for the Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF). Additionally, she is a jury member for the Brage Prize and has contributed to short documentaries and video series that shed light on important social issues.
The conversation will be led by Sindre Nordås Viulsrød from Kode. Welcome to an evening of thought-provoking and inspiring discussions!
