Welcome to the popular lunchtime concerts, this week featuring pianist Håkon Skogstad.

About the artist

Håkon Skogstad (born in 1989) is an award-winning Norwegian pianist and composer holding degrees in classical performance from Trondheim, Oslo, and New York. He recently completed his PhD in Artistic Research (2022).

Skogstad has performed in critically acclaimed ensembles and as a soloist throughout Norway and played concerts in the U.S., Argentina, Germany, Austria and Sweden. In addition to this, Skogstad has been touring for two decades with his expertise in Argentine tango music and has released three albums with internationally acclaimed ensembles. His debut solo album “Two Hands to Tango” has received numerous outstanding reviews worldwide. Skogstad is currently a recipient of the State Artist Grant (Statens Kunstnerstipend).

New this year: Concert + bus + art!

This year it is easy to experience the music at Troldhaugen, in combination with art.

We offer a ticket that includes both a bus to Troldhaugen, a concert ticket with entrance to the museum, and entrance to Kode's art museums on the same day.

The bus leaves from the Bergen city centre at 11.00 am, outside Rasmus Meyer, and back at the same place.

Prices:

Ticket that includes concert + bus transport from Bergen city center + entrance to Kode's art museums: NOK 400/360/100.

Concert ticket without transport: NOK 200/130/100/50.

Practical information about the lunchtime concerts:

Two concerts per day: at 11.30 am and at 1 pm.

Duration: 30 minutes.

For those who choose a ticket with bus transport: The bus leaves at 11.00 am and returns at approximately 2.30 pm.

The tickets include entry to the museum and to Grieg's villa.

The tickets are not refundable.

Note that Troldhaugen is closed on Mondays.
