About Harald Sæverud and Siljustøl
Harald Sæverud was a distinctive and powerful voice in 20th-century Norwegian music.
His music is characterized by strong contrasts, clear rhythmic drive, and a highly personal—often dramatic—expression. Many of his works possess a singular strength and character, ranging from the lyrical and delicate to the burlesque and satirical.
