Welcome to the popular lunchtime concerts, this week featuring pianist Ingunn Tennøe.

About the artist

Ingunn Tennøe (b. 1989) holds a master's degree in classical performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music and has also studied at the Barratt Due Institute of Music. In 2010, she received a full scholarship for a year at the Manhattan School of Music under Dr. Marc Silverman. There, she won first prize in the Fuchs Competition, alongside violinist Anna Margrethe H. Nilsen, and performed concerts at venues such as WMP Concert Hall, Caffe Vivaldi, and Juilliard School of Music and Drama.

Tennøe has several talents, including song and storytelling. She has experience both as a pianist and as a singer on Norwegian radio and television. She regularly performs in London, Cambridge, and around Norway. Besides her classical carreer, Tennøe writes her own music inspired by soul, folk, jazz and classical music.

New this year: Concert + bus + art!

This year it is easy to experience the music at Troldhaugen, in combination with art.

We offer a ticket that includes both a bus to Troldhaugen, a concert ticket with entrance to the museum, and entrance to Kode's art museums on the same day.

The bus leaves from the Bergen city centre at 11.00 am, outside Rasmus Meyer, and back at the same place.

Prices:

Ticket that includes concert + bus transport from Bergen city center + entrance to Kode's art museums: NOK 400/360/100.

Concert ticket without transport: NOK 200/130/100/50.

Practical information about the lunchtime concerts:

Two concerts per day: at 11.30 am and at 1 pm.

Duration: 30 minutes.

For those who choose a ticket with bus transport: The bus leaves at 11.00 am and returns at approximately 2.30 pm.

The tickets include entry to the museum and to Grieg's villa.

The tickets are not refundable.

Note that Troldhaugen is closed on Mondays.
